The One Side Select Feature has been enhanced to simplify how the team handles meeting requests when one company selects another for a potential meeting. Previously, the process required multiple manual steps: generating a match list, calling the selected company to ask for approval, responding to the match list, and then waiting for the system to schedule the meeting. This workflow was time-consuming and created unnecessary complexity.
With the new enhancement, a Schedule Meeting action has been added directly within the match list. When a company is selected by another, for example, Dubai Media selecting Dream Factory, the team member can call Dream Factory to request approval. Instead of manually generating and responding to match lists, the team member can now simply click Schedule Meeting. This allows them to select which companies are approved, choose the representative from the company who will attend the meeting, and add a comment noting that the approval was received. Once submitted, the system automatically handles the backend steps: responding to the match list and triggering the two-side selection workflow to finalize and schedule the meeting.
Additionally, the match list interface is being improved to enhance usability. A Select All option is being introduced to make bulk selection easier, especially when managing multiple one side selects. Match lists are also now filtered into categories: All Lists, ITB, Manual, and Others to help users quickly identify their source and purpose.
Finally, comments added during scheduling help record how approval was obtained (e.g., “Approved via phone call”), ensuring accountability and context for future reference. Meetings scheduled through One Side Select are attributed to the team member who initiated the process rather than being considered automated.
