Trade Show Calling Overview
Today, I’ll guide you through the process of initiating calls from our trade show hub. Our current event, Utility Congress, is taking place in Abu Dhabi. To begin, access the trade show directory, which is divided into two main sections: people and companies. This segmentation is crucial for efficient outreach.
First, navigate to the directory to find detailed information about the companies, including their names, websites, and contact details. For calling, you’ll primarily focus on the “people” section, where you can filter by exhibitors or visitors based on your target.
Start with the exhibitors list. Apply relevant filters such as industry, country, target type, and number of employees to narrow down your list. Once filtered, proceed by selecting the exhibitors’ batch you wish to contact. You can also update tags with colors or add new tags to categorize your contacts effectively.
When making calls, use the hub’s integrated tools. You can call directly from the hub or copy the number to use on a separate dialer. For emails, either send them directly from the hub or copy the email address and use your preferred email client. Ensure to log detailed notes after each call, including call outcomes and follow-up actions. This helps both you and your manager track interactions and statuses.
During the trade show, update your contact’s status as “confirmed,” “not interested,” or other relevant categories. This enables your team to coordinate effectively, follow up with leads, and schedule meetings as needed. Attachments, such as pitch decks or videos, can be uploaded directly to the hub to keep all relevant materials organized.
Remember, keeping detailed notes and accurate status updates is essential for smooth operations and effective follow-ups. If you have any questions or need further clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you, and good luck with your calls!
