In this lesson, we will explore the process of generating a payment link for both existing and new clients. Payment links provide a seamless way to collect payments for different subscription plans, whether monthly or annually.
There are three main scenarios when creating a payment link:
- For an Existing User and Company:
- If the client is already onboarded and has an active plan, you can modify the plan and generate a new payment link.
- The link includes details like the plan type, billing cycle (monthly/annual), the number of users, and applicable discounts.
- You can copy and share this link through multiple communication channels.
- Clients can enter promo codes before completing payment.
- For a New User Without a Specific Assigned Account:
- If the user is not yet onboarded, the process remains similar, but the payment link does not tie to a pre-existing user account.
- The client will have the flexibility to create an account during the payment process.
- The generated link includes plan details but does not have a predefined user email.
- Generating a General Payment Link:
- A general link can be shared publicly, allowing users to enter their details and complete the payment independently.
- Users must verify their email and provide their billing information before completing the transaction.
