Groups Feature

The Groups feature is no longer optional, it is a foundational system workflow that enables the team to organize, target, and act on data with precision. This course teaches how Groups function as the bridge between filtered data and system actions.

Previously, teams often faced challenges when trying to perform actions on a specific subset of companies or contacts. The Groups system solves this by introducing a structured three-step pipeline:

1. Filter your data – From directories, meetings, match lists, or tags.
2. Create a group – Convert the filtered result into a reusable container of companies or contacts.
3. Apply actions using the group – Use it across match lists, meeting agendas, campaigns, surveys, notifications, or future enhancements.

Groups can now be created from companies, contacts, or meetings, and can store either companies or contacts regardless of the source. This flexibility allows teams to target only the exact people needed, for example, sending surveys only to contacts who conducted meetings or running campaigns for attendees who missed sessions.

Groups eliminate manual spreadsheet work, reduce errors, and solve operational corner cases. They also support bulk actions such as assigning agents, tagging, filtering meetings by group, and running campaigns for selected contact groups.

By understanding Groups as a data pipeline, teams gain full control over segmentation and execution. This course ensures every team member can confidently filter data, build smart groups, and activate them throughout the platform.
