The course discusses a system that handles publishing and validating company and contact information. It introduces two main publishing options for both companies and contacts: public and internal. Public contacts are visible to everyone, represented by a green “P” tag. Internal publishing, on the other hand, is for team use only and is marked by a yellow “I” tag. Contacts can also be marked as valid or invalid based on email validation, with valid contacts shown in green and invalid ones in red.
The validation process involves verifying whether an email is working properly. The system can automatically attempt validation, but manual validation is also possible. There are tools used for validation, which check the domain and use technical details to determine if an email is correct. Some limitations include cases where mail servers accept all emails, even if they don’t exist, leading to inaccurate validation results.
In the system, users can select contacts or companies for validation, with options to validate a single contact or an entire list of companies. While some features are still being developed, the system provides an efficient way to manage the accuracy of contact information for internal use or broader visibility.
