To enhance the efficiency of scheduling and organizing meetings at matchmaking events, three core applications are proposed.
1. Time-Based Meeting Restrictions:
The first application ensures meetings are only scheduled within a defined time range. This control helps event organizers restrict meeting windows, such as only between 10 AM and 5 PM, preventing errors like bookings outside allowable hours.
2. Zone-Based Meeting Grouping:
The second application organizes meetings based on designated zones, such as an “Investor Lounge” or “Startup Zone.” Each group, such as the “Investor Group,” will have a pre-assigned meeting location. When scheduling a meeting between members of a specific group, the system limits the available meeting place options. For instance, if both participants are investors, only the “Investor Lounge” is available as a meeting location. This avoids logistical errors and prevents situations like investor meetings mistakenly placed in startup zones, ensuring smooth coordination across distant areas.
3. Group Filtering and Reporting:
The third application allows filtering based on delegation or country groups for reporting and operational support. Suppose an organizer wants to analyze participation, for example, tracking how many companies from the French, German, or Chinese delegations attended and how many meetings were conducted. In that case, this feature allows teams to filter participants by group and extract meaningful statistics. It enhances team collaboration and helps in allocating resources, evaluating engagement, and managing logistics more effectively.
Collectively, these three applications streamline the scheduling, localization, and reporting of meetings in large-scale events, improving user experience for organizers, exhibitors, and investors alike.
